Assam Governor administers oath to new minister
Guwahati,Rongili Barta: Assam Governor Shri Lakshman Prasad Acharya in the exercise of power vested in him under clause (1) of Article 164 of the Constitution of India administered the oath of office and secrecy to Shri Charan Boro as a minister to State government at a solemn function held at Brahmaputra wing of Raj Bhavan here.
In the swearing-in ceremony Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, his ministerial colleagues, MPs, MLAs, government advisors, senior government officers and a host of other dignitaries were present.
