Assam Governor extends Puja wishes to the people
Guwahati,Rongili Barta: Assam Governor Shri Lakshman Prasad Acharya has conveyed his greetings and best wishes to the people on the occasion of Durga Puja.
In a message to the people of Assam the Governor said, “Durga Puja marks the eternal essence of victory of good over evil and usher in hope and bright future. I hope that the festivity strengthens the spirit of unity to fight against all evils. May the darshan of resplendent Goddess Durga fill everybody’s life with devotion, compassion and love.”
He also said that may Maa Durga the deity of Shakti guide us all in the path of righteousness and bless us all with peace, joy and prosperity.
