Governor extends greetings on Eid-ul-Fitr
Guwahati, Rongili Barta: Assam Governor Shri Lakshman Prasad Acharya, extended his warm greetings to the people of the state, especially the Muslim community, on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
In his message here today, the Governor while extending his best wishes, said that Eid-ul-Fitr, marking the end of the sacred month of Ramadan, symbolizes peace, gratitude and spiritual renewal. He expressed hope that the festival would strengthen the bonds of harmony, unity and mutual respect among all sections of society.
The Governor further said that Eid is a celebration of compassion, generosity and togetherness. He urged people to embrace the values of kindness and charity, and work collectively towards a more inclusive and harmonious society.
Wishing everyone happiness and prosperity, the Governor called upon the people to follow the spirit of the occasion and work for peace and well-being for all.
