The Institute of Company Secretaries of India inks MoU with Indian Association of Gold Excellence and Standards
Rongili Barta- The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has inked MoU with Indian Association of Gold Excellence and Standards (IAGES) on 15 January 2026, in New Delhi.
CS Dhananjay Shukla, President, The ICSI, signed the MoU on behalf on the ICSI while Shri Kaushlendra Sinha, Chief Executive Officer, IAGES signed MoU on behalf of IAGES in presence of Major Aparajita Bhattacharya, Vice President – Accreditations, IAGES and CS Banu Dandona, Director, The ICSI.
The MoU will provide leverage to ICSI-registered Practising Company Secretaries (PCS) firms by giving them access to IAGES’ Value Chain Partners in the Indian Gold Industry who have expressed interest in undergoing assessment for IAGES accreditation. PCS firms will have an opportunity to empanel themselves with IAGES as external agency to conduct assessment of the IAGES’ Value Chain Partner across India.
Emphasizing the need for such collaborations CS Dhananjay Shukla, President, The ICSI said that “The Institute is committed towards holistic development of all its stakeholders. This association would play a pivotal role in fostering trust and credibility besides developing capabilities and driving market growth”.
