Assam Governor administers oath to APSC Chairperson
Guwahati, Rongili Barta: Assam Governor Shri Lakshman Prasad Acharya administered the oath of office to Prabhati Thaosen as the Chairperson of Assam Public Service Commission at a programme held at the Conference Hall in the Brahmaputra wing of Raj Bhavan here.
Earlier, Chief Secretary to the Govt. of Assam Dr. Ravi Kota sought the permission of the Governor to start the proceedings of the ceremony.
Minister of Education Dr. Ranoj Pegu, Addl. Chief Secretaries Govt. of Assam Ajay Tewari, B. Kalyan Charavarthy, Members of the APSC, Commissioner and Secretary to the Governor S.S. Meenakshi Sundaram,Commissioner and Secretary GAD M.S.Manivannan, and several senior government officers were present on the occasion.
