51st Inter State National Bridge Championship started at Guwahati
Dispur,Rongili Barta- Assam Bridge Association is hosting 51st Inter State Bridge Championship 2023 at Bhogeswari Phukonani Indoor Stadium, Guwahati from 22nd November to 26th November, 2023. Sports and Youth Welfare, Secretary K. J. Hilaly inaugurated the tournament yesterday. In his inaugural speech Hilaly has encouraged all the participants and also extended warm welcome to the players coming from outside. N K Chakraborty, President, Assam Bridge Association; C M Kulkarni, Secretary, Bridge Federation of India; Arundhati Chakraborty, Secretary of I≺ Pronip Kr. Borthakur, Patron; J M Dey, Secretary, Assam Bridge Association; Pranab Kr. Goswami, Organising Secretary and Ranju Bhattacharjee, Chief Tournament Director were also present during the inauguration programme. It may be noted that after a gap of 27 years, Bridge Federation of India has organized this tournament in Assam. Players from 23 states of the country comprising of the 32 teams has participated in the tournament.
