Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership is moving India towards world leadership – State BJP G20 meeting: State BJP Press Conference

Guwahati,Rongili Barta- “Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India is moving towards becoming a world leader. India has received the G20 presidency thanks to Narendra Modi’s strong initiatives”, party spokesperson Manoj Barua and Pankaj Barbara told a press conference at the party head quartes in Bashishta. The two state BJP leaders said it was very important for India to hold the presidency of the G-20, which represents 75 per cent of the world’s trade and economy. The G20 summit will hold 200 meetings on 32 topics. This meeting will benefit India in all aspects including economic, diplomatic, political, cultural and educational. This will enable India to gain an important position in the global context and the youth of the country will be benefited in particular. The State BJP has expressed its sincere gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for giving India the opportunity to chair the G-20. According to the two party leaders, today under the leadership of Narendra Modi India has held the post of Chairman of the UN Security Council, Chairman of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and most recently the Chairman of the G-20. This is an example of how India is moving towards becoming a world leader in the global context. Recently, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, as Chairman has advocated structural changes in the world’s leading organisations including the World Bank, IMF and World Trade Organisation. If this change is initiated by the G-20 member states in the next phase, India will benefit in all aspects, politically, economically and also in the international context. The spokespersons said that the G-20 summit will benefit the entire country as well as the North East and Assam. Five of these meetings will be held in Assam. The Central Government has allocated Rs. 1337 Crore for this purpose and 12 selected tourist destinations have been identified and renovated. The city of Guwahati has also been made bright. The successful holding of the G-20 Summit under the chairmanship of India will make India much stronger in the diplomatic sphere. This will strengthen India’s position in the frequently discussed border conflict in the North East. To successfully conduct the said meetings in Assam the government is completely ready under the able leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma. The State BJP appeals to the people of Assam as well as the media houses to show complete cooperation for the successful conduction of the G-20 summit. The State BJP has formed three committees comprising party office bearers, MPs and spokesperson to assist the Assam government in preparing for the G-20 summit to be held in Assam as stated by the State BJP Media Convenor Dewan Dhruba Jyoti Maral.
