Government issues notification related to felicitation of guests
Dispur, 08 February: The General Administration Department, Government of Assam, in supersession of earlier instructions, has issued a notification stating that henceforth the practice of felicitation to Hon’ble Chief Minister, Hon’ble Ministers or senior officials in any State Government function may be avoided. However, the norm is exempted in case of Hon’ble Governor, Hon’ble Union Ministers, visiting senior Government of India officials, State Guest and any non-Government guests invited to the programme.
